One of the most significant European sculptors of the 20th century, Giacometti is known for his distinctive, elongated sculptures which experiment with the human form. Responding to the pain and devastation caused by the Second World War, his works proposed a new perspective on humanity and the collective psyche. Organized in collaboration with the Fondation Giacometti, this year-long series launched in May 2025 with an exhibition of works by Huma Bhabha, followed by Mona Hatoum in September and Lynda Benglis in February 2026. Their artworks resonate with and respond to Giacometti’s sculptures, opening up new intergenerational dialogues through the timeless themes of death, fragmentation, the domestic, memory, trauma, the erotic, horror and humour. This is the first time that their sculptures will be seen alongside Giacometti’s works.

, at David Zwirner Los Angeles, this collection of tearaway postcards feature artists’ responses on the frontside and exhibition information on the reverse with space to write a note of one’s own. 

Each contributor was invited to respond with a reflection on what it means to be an artist, the importance of formal arts education, and the experience of making work in Los Angeles. The project is deeply informed by Saunders’s personal archive of postcards, stamps, and correspondence with friends, colleagues, and students, much of which is presented as ephemera in the exhibition. This compendium also directly references 

 (1987), a series of postcards Saunders produced featuring excerpts from a conversation that reflect on the evolution of his artistic practice.

This book presents a fresh, accessible, and dynamic look at the work of American artist Robert Therrien, surveying over 40 years of his influential work, notably his underseen and understudied late works. Organized chronologically and thematically, emphasizing Therrien's iterative artistic practice of exploring sets of themes over time, the volume speaks to the nature of memory and how it is shaped by space, time and materials, placing his practice within the history of recent sculpture in Los Angeles and elsewhere. The book showcases Therrien's personal vocabulary of forms as they become a personal language of continuous creation for the artist over time. A single Therrien gesture can expand, contract, change materially, or seamlessly transform into other images entirely. At the heart of Therrien's practice is a sense of artistic animation, by turns fun, playful, and serious.

This catalog accompanies the exhibition "Marlene Dumas: Cycladic Blues" at the Museum of Cycladic Art in Athens, featuring over 40 paintings and works of paper, combined with over 30 antiquities from the museum’s collection. Grouped into categories—family, portrait, erotic figure, fragmented body, and portraits of sculptures—Dumas’s works enter into a timeless dialogue with the abstracted human forms of the Cycladic figurines created by unknown artists several millennia ago. 

As the artist states on the first page: "This is a book for all time; from being born, being young, being attractive and seductive, being betrayed and attacked, to being old and trying not to die."
