A Message from Yayoi Kusama

November 17, 2017

From her studio in Tokyo, Yayoi Kusama has recorded a personal message for visitors to her current exhibitions at David Zwirner in New York, the city in which she lived for more than 15 years between 1958 and 1975. The Japanese artist expresses her gratitude to both the gallery and the public, and hopes the works on view afford a sense of hope and love.

Major concurrent exhibitions of recent work by Yayoi Kusama are on view in New York: Festival of Life at 525 and 533 West 19th Street through December 16, 2017, and Infinity Nets at 34 East 69th Street through December 22, 2017.
