Rose Wylie: Napoleon and Wild Flowers

David Zwirner is pleased to announce Napoleon and Wild Flowers, an exhibition of work by British artist Rose Wylie (b. 1934) at the gallery’s location in Hong Kong. This presentation will include new and recent canvases, historical painting, multipanel works, and works on paper, all featuring Wylie’s bold, uniquely recognizable compositions, which reveal witty observations and subtly sophisticated meditations on the nature of visual representation itself. Marking the artist’s ninth solo show with the gallery and her second in Hong Kong, the exhibition will follow Rose Wylie: Henri, Egypt...Bette, Bear, which took place at David Zwirner Paris, and her largest-ever survey presentation Rose Wylie: The Picture Comes First, at the Royal Academy of Arts, London, in 2026.
