Artists for Biden
Over 100 leading contemporary artists are donating works to Artists for Biden, an online-only sale launching on October 2, with all proceeds going to the official Biden Victory Fund. As reported in ArtNet News, the sale features works by a diverse group of artists—including Carol Bove, Cecily Brown, Jeff Koons, Ed Ruscha, Carrie Mae Weems, Kehinde Wiley, and many more—represented by a wide range of galleries.
“It’s extremely heartwarming in this difficult year to see how everybody comes together,” David Zwirner said in the ArtNet interview. “I’ve rarely ever seen the arts community as united as it is right now in the need and wish for a change in direction.”
The sale will be presented on the newly launched Platform, continuing the initiative developed by David Zwirner to host online sales for industry peers and partners.
A list of the Artists for Biden participating artists and galleries can be found below. For additional details on this online-only sale that benefits the Biden Victory Fund, see ArtNet.
