Victor Man Included in Clair-obscur

Bourse de Commerce – Pinault Collection, Paris, France

March 4–August 24, 2026

Victor Man, Sigmar Polke, and Wolfgang Tillmans are among roughly twenty modern and contemporary artists from the Pinault Collection included in Clair-obscur, with a solo room dedicated to the work of Victor Man.

The exhibition explores the legacy of chiaroscuro, moving from darkness to light and resonating with the present day. The museum is transformed into a landscape that is both luminous and crepuscular, immersing visitors in a reflection on the visible and invisible, where the materiality of light and the shadows of the unconscious are expressed.

Clair-obscur is curated by Emma Lavigne, general director and curator, Pinault Collection.
