The Staatliche Graphische Sammlung in the Pinakothek der Moderne presents a new exhibition by Dana Schutz titled Trouble and Appearance.
The exhibition includes a new group of large-format charcoal drawings reminiscent of the murals of the American Abstract Expressionists, debuting for the first time in Munich. In addition, the artist will present paintings, prints, monotypes, and sketches for her painting, which have previously remained under wraps, demonstrating that the spirit of disegno is also at work here.
