Phaidon and David Zwirner gallery invite you to a virtual panel discussion in celebration of the publication of Anni & Josef Albers: Equal and Unequal.  Join the book’s author and director of the Josef and Anni Albers Foundation, Nicholas Fox Weber, in conversation with David Zwirner gallery’s David Leiber about Anni and Josef Albers, their rich creative output, and infinite influence on each other.  Moderated by Lauren Hinkson, Associate Curator at the Guggenheim Museum, the conversation will explore the life and work of Josef (painter, designer, and teacher) and Anni Albers (textile artist and printmaker), two masters who were leading pioneers and protagonists of modern art and design—from their formative years at the Bauhaus in Germany to their remarkable influence at Black Mountain College, through their intensely productive period in Connecticut.

Wednesday, November 18 1:00pm ET / 6:00pm GMT Hosted by Phaidon and David Zwirner gallery via Zoom.
