Marcel Dzama: Coloring the Moon Pink

On the occasion of his online-only exhibition, Marcel Dzama: Pink Moon, Marcel Dzama has published a coloring book featuring a series of new drawings.

Coloring the Moon Pink was made in collaboration with the artist’s son during quarantine, and acknowledges the families who are having to discover new ways to balance work, school, and life while isolated at home together. Dzama’s book features imagery from his exhibition, including a new Pink Moon, as well as a vision of his son swimming in a pool in Mexico, and mashups of beloved fairy tales such as Puss in Boots and Alice in Wonderland.
