Carol Bove has been appointed the Board Chair of SculptureCenter.
Bove will be the first woman to lead the Board Of Trustees in the organization’s history. Previously, the artist has served as Trustee of SculptureCenter since 2012 and as President since 2018.
“Together, we will amplify our engagement at the forefront of contemporary art and culture, addressing important social and political issues, and meeting challenges of every possible kind with open discourse at all levels of our organization and alongside the artists we champion,” said Bove.
A new work by Bove will be exhibited for the first time in 20/20, a group exhibition featuring artists from the gallery’s program at our 537 West 20th Street location in New York, opening October 29.
