Oscar Murillo and Charles Henry Rowell

Class, race, art—and the Colombian and African diasporas. The artist Oscar Murillo, who was awarded the 2019 Turner Prize together with the other short-listed artists, and Charles Henry Rowell, the founder and editor of Callaloo, the longest continuously running African American literary journal, hold an unpredictable conversation that is part history lesson and part personal history.
