A detail image of a sculpture by Juan Muñoz titled Sculpture I, 2001

David Zwirner's inaugural presentation at ARCOmadrid will feature important late works by Juan Muñoz, marking seventy years since the artist's birth. The presentation will coincide with Juan Muñoz. Todo lo que veo me sobrevivirá, at Sala Alcalá 31, a comprehensive exhibition that focuses on the remarkable last decade of the artist's career. David Zwirner’s presentation will also highlight new paintings from Lucas Arruda's ongoing Deserto-Modelo series, while Assum Preto, Arruda's solo exhibition curated by Hans Ulrich Obrist, will concurrently be on view at the Ateneo de Madrid. Never-before-seen works by Oscar Murillo will also feature on the booth, whilst Murillo’s catarata social, a gestural intervention at Iglesia de San Antón, will be on view from 20–26 February. Murillo’s works will be presented alongside new works by Marcel Dzama, whose solo exhibition Drawing on a Revolution was presented at La Casa Encendida in 2017.
