Opening on Wednesday, December 14 the gallery will present an exhibition of work by British-born artist Gavin Brown. This will be the artist's first one-person exhibition in the United States.
The show will consist of three distinct collections: 1. paperback books; 2. offset posters; 3. varying images and objects whose only common denominator is the artist. The sources and authorship of the collections are eclectic to the extreme. The work pivots on the wildly diverse nature of its origins producing a fluidity and democracy that veils the fact that it is truly sentimental.
