Not only an artist, but also an accomplished musician, R. Crumb performs with the East River String Band as part of the tenth annual Brooklyn Folk Festival, held at St. Ann’s Church (Main Stage, 5:45 PM).

Felix Gonzalez-Torres is among the artists whose work is included in Dancing with Myself at the Centro d’Arte Contemporanea Punta della Dogana and Palazzo Grassi, Italy. Organized in collaboration with the Folkwang Museum in Essen, Germany (where a first version of the show was presented in 2016) and curated by Florian Ebner, Anna Fricke, and Martin Bethenod, this exhibition presents works from the Pinault Collection.

Faith Love Hope: 800 Years of the Graz-Seckau Diocese at Kunsthaus Graz, Austria, includes Luc Tuymans’s paintings Candle (2017) and The Worshipper (2004). Tuymans is also creating a wall painting specially for this presentation based on his 2003 painting titled Plant. The exhibition, which has been organized in collaboration with KULTUM – the Minorites’ Cultural Centre, explores artistic engagement with Christian values and imagery and the relationship between temporal and secular zones.

Building upon the group exhibition Light Sensitive: Contemporary Photography from the Schaufler Collection, which was presented from 2011 to 2013, Light Sensitive 2: Photography from the Schaufler Collection features additional works from the collection of Peter Schaufler and Christiane Schaufler-Münch in Sindelfingen, Germany. The exhibition includes works by Sherrie Levine, Thomas Ruff, and Wolfgang Tillmans, and takes place at the Schauwerk Sindelfingen, a former factory south of Stuttgart that opened as a public museum in 2010. The late Peter Schaufler began collecting art with his wife in the 1980s. They amassed one of the largest collections in Germany, numbering more than three thousand works.

Work by Wolfgang Tillmans is included in Fashion Drive: Extreme Clothing in the Visual Arts at Kunsthaus Zürich. Spanning five hundred years, the exhibition surveys artists’ depictions of and reactions to fashion throughout history.

April 28–June 17

Donlad Judd's work is included in Following Form: Prints by Sculptors at Montgomery Museum of Fine Arts in Alabama.
