Paris+ par Art Basel
David Zwirner is very pleased to participate in the inaugural edition of Paris+ par Art Basel. The gallery will exhibit historic works by Anni Albers, Josef Albers, Felix Gonzalez-Torres, Joan Mitchell, and Alice Neel, reflecting the concurrent presentations of the artists' work in the city, alongside work by Yayoi Kusama, Luc Tuymans, and Cy Twombly, among others. Also on view will be new work by gallery artists including Francis Alÿs, Huma Bhabha, Suzan Frecon, Oscar Murillo, Josh Smith, and Lisa Yuskavage. In addition, the booth will feature a section dedicated to an early group of Robert Ryman paintings from the 1950s and 1960s.
David Zwirner is also happy to be participating in the 'Sites' sector by Paris+ par Art Basel. On view in the Jardin des Tuileries will be Franz West's Lemurenköpfe (Lemure Heads), 1992. The work will be the focus of an Exceptional Works online presentation.
