In early 2014, the David Zwirner announced the formation of David Zwirner Books, a stand-alone publishing house with international distribution through Artbook|D.A.P. and Thames & Hudson. With plans to produce exhibition catalogues, monographs, historical surveys, artists’ books, and catalogue raisonnés, David Zwirner Books officially launched at both the New York Art Book Fair at MoMA PS1 and the London Art Book Fair at Whitechapel Gallery.


David Zwirner Books publishes its own books, as well as occasionally co-publishes with selected partners. Recent titles include Bridget Riley: The Stripe Paintings 1961-2014; Neo Rauch: At the Well; Richard Serra: Early Work; Yayoi Kusama: I Who Have Arrived In Heaven; Jeff Koons: Gazing Ball; Raymond Pettibon: To Wit; Michael Riedel: Oskar; John McCracken: Works from 1963-2011; and Palermo: Works on Paper 1976-1977. Nearly twenty titles are planned for 2015 including Ad Reinhardt; Alice Neel: Drawings and Watercolors 1927-1978; No Problem: New York/Cologne 1984-1989; Kerry James Marshall: Look See and Jason Rhoades: PeaRoeFoam.


The publishing offices are based in Manhattan’s Chelsea neighborhood in a townhouse located at 515 West 19th Street, adjacent to the gallery.
