Expo Chicago Art Fair

David Zwirner is pleased to participate in this year’s Expo Chicago (Booth #509), the new international art fair on the Navy Pier.

 

David Zwirner is showing a range of work by gallery artists, including works on paper by Suzan Frecon, who will have an exhibition at the gallery in January 2013; a new sculpture by Carol Bove, who recently participated in documenta 13; sculptures by John McCracken; Alice Neel’s portraits of her two sons (Richard, 1969, and Hartley, 1978); photo collages from the 1970s by Gordon Matta-Clark; and untitled (to Donna) 6, 1971, a fluorescent light work by Dan Flavin, whose iconic installation created in 1986 especially for the Stedelijk Museum will be on view as part of the museum’s eagerly awaited re-opening on September 23, 2012. Also on view at Expo Chicago are works by Adel Abdessemed, Stan Douglas, Marcel Dzama, Isa Genzken, David Hammons, Chris Ofili, Raymond Pettibon, Thomas Ruff, Fred Sandback, Luc Tuymans, Christopher Williams, and Lisa Yuskavage, along with new photographs by James Welling and works on paper by Al Taylor, whose exhibitions are on view at David Zwirner in New York through October 27.
