On Kawara: 10 Tableaux and 16,952 Pages was published on the occasion of the artist’s solo exhibition at the Dallas Museum of Art in 2008, which presented a selection of large-scale date paintings, a one-hundred-year calendar, and binders of ephemera from the series I Met (1968-1979), I Read (1966-1995), and I Went (1968-1979). This fully illustrated catalogue includes texts by philosopher and systems theorist Ervin Laszlo; planetary physicist Takafumi Matsui; and Charles Wylie, The Lupe Murchison Curator of Contemporary Art at the Dallas Museum of Art.
